Welcome to the New Site for Underwood Farms

Please join me in welcoming the Underwood Farms technology presence to 2025! After years of not updating www.underwoodfarms.com, we’re modernizing.

The purpose of the Underwood Farms online presence is the same: the site provides local content through the lens of me, Tom Underwood. Much of the content is about Culpeper County and local politics. I served on the Culpeper Board of Supervisors from 2008-2012, and I rejoined the Board in 2020 and continue to be on it.

Over the years, I’ve published many ideas for local ordinances. I plan to place the old postings on this site. Please keep in mind that I meant what I wrote 15+ years ago, but my opinions may have evolved over the time since authorship.

Historically, I have bought and sold a lot of land in western Culpeper County and northern Madison County. In 2025, I don’t have much for sale, and I pretty much would only by land if it is contiguous to the farm in Reva.

Hopefully, the content is worthwhile to some.
